Indian Summer


Indian Summer were a Coventry progressive band who made an album, still sought after on the RCA Neon Label. they played the Lanch at the 1971 Lanch Arts festival with Leon Russell and Osibisa.


Malcom Harker - bass, vibes
Paul Hooper - drums
Bob Jackson - organ, lead vocals
Colin Williams - guitar, vocals


Discovered by Jim Simpson of Henry's Blues House in Birmingham who also discovered Black Sabbath the year before. Keyboard player and songwriter Bob Jackson went on to play with John Entwhistle's band, Ross, Pete Brown's Piblokto, Bandfinger, The Dodgers, the Fortunes and others along with some of his band mates.
